Description
Acadian Flycatchers are rare in Ontario and Canada. They prefer rich, beech-maple forests for nesting in. Rondeau Provincial Park happens to have lots of this habitat, and so it is one of the more reliable places in Canada to find them. They are not as vividly coloured as many species, but the rich, olive-green colour and their explosive 'peet-suh' call is always a delight to hear.
